How to Receive Continuing Education Units

As requested by Pharmacists, Continuing Education Units (CEUs) of 8.5 credits have been designated to this course through the UBC Division of Continuing Pharmacy Professional Development (accredited from Summer 2008 to Summer 2011, BC-2008-013) and through Dalhousie University (accredited on an ongoing basis).

If you are a pharmacist in these provinces, you are eligible for Continuing Education Units for completing this course. Currently the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia accepts both non-accredited and accredited continuing education programs to be submitted as part of your licensure requirements.

To obtain the 8.5 CEUs, applicants must complete modules 1 through 8. Applicants will also need to prepare a portfolio with the following items:

  1. Pre-course reflection form (complete this prior to starting the course)
  2. All written reflections and assignments completed within modules (see Checklist )
  3. Post-course reflection form (complete this after finishing the course)
  4. Overall course evaluation form
  5. Personal Information form
